• We are hiring immediately for a full-time COOK position.
• Location: Coushatta - 1635 Marvel Street, Coushatta, LA 71019. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week. Days and hours may vary, including some weekends. More details upon interview.

• Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality food items following standardized recipes and instructions to meet production and service schedules.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, attractiveness, and taste. Taste all prepared food items.
• Use established ticket collection procedures during service and maintain records from your area.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen after preparation and service, storing or discarding excess food safely.
• Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, storing food and supplies per standards.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as needed.
• Assist with ordering and receiving food and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
• Attend in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Perform job safely, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
• Commit to personal and team safety, abiding by all company policies, including the use of safety gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
