Job description

We are hiring immediately for full-time COOK positions.

Location: TGH Brooksville - 17240 Cortex Boulevard, Brooksville, FL 34601. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time schedules. Days may vary, 6:30 am to 6:30 pm; more details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Pay Range: $15.00 per hour to $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Prepares high-quality food items per standardized recipes to meet schedules.
  2. Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation.
  3. Uses ticket collection procedures and maintains records during service.
  4. Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safe food-handling procedures.
  5. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment.
  6. Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
  7. Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
  8. Attends safety and in-service meetings.
  9. Maintains good relationships with coworkers and clients.
  10. Follows HACCP standards for presentation and temperature controls.
  11. Adheres to all safety policies, including proper use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
