Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Akron is seeking a Cook to support patient meals and cafeteria services in Akron, OH. You will follow standardized recipes, ensure proper portion control, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen to support high-quality patient care.

The role requires at least one year of cooking experience; a High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, with Culinary Arts training viewed positively. This position is full-time and on-site at our Akron facility.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of cooking experience is required.
• High School degree or equivalent preferred.
• Culinary Arts degree or relevant coursework is a plus.
• Healthcare food service experience is beneficial.
