Job summary

HCF is seeking a Nutrition Assistant to prepare meals according to daily menus and dietary specifications, supporting daily meal service operations in our facility.

The ideal candidate is reliable, compassionate, and a team player, with a high school diploma preferred and ServSafe or Ohio Food Protection certification recommended. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• ServSafe Certification recommended, or for Ohio only, Ohio Department of Health Level II Certification in Food Protection.
• Experience in similar roles and a willingness to train if no prior background.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing meals.
• Verify tray tickets.
• Wash & sanitize dishware.
• Clean & sanitize equipment.
• Operate all food service equipment safely.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, make simple calculations and follow oral or written instructions.
• A high school diploma is preferred.
• ServSafe Certification recommended, or for Ohio only, Ohio Department of Health Level II Certification in Food Protection.
