Job summary

Central Florida Behavioral Hospital, a 174-bed private psychiatric center in Orlando, FL, is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for patients and staff under the Dietary Director's supervision. This role supports a full continuum of care and follows approved menus and production sheets.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Investigation.
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler's Certification required (can be obtained upon hire).
• (1) year experience in a behavioral health facility highly preferred.
• Demonstrates a willingness to cooperate with others.
• Can be relied upon to be at work as scheduled
• Must be available to attend the full hospital and departmental orientations: Week 1: M-F 8 AM - 5 PM

• Ensures food presentation is pleasant and food temperatures are appropriate on the serving line and in food storage areas.
• Follows published menus and completes substitution schedule when necessary.

Position Summary

The overall functions of this position are to prepare and serve regular and special diets to patients and employees under the supervision of the Dietary Director.
