Job summary

Universal Hospital Services Inc. in Oak Plains, TN, is seeking a part-time Line Cook/Prep to join our dietary services team. The role covers Saturday, Sunday and Monday, from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, totaling 24 hours per week.

You will assist in meal preparation and service according to dietary guidelines, maintain food safety, and collaborate with dietary staff on menus while helping with inventory and ordering. You will help provide a positive dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver's License or valid photo state ID.
• Must be the age of 21 years old or over.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food guidelines.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff and residents.
• Must attend the two-week orientation classes, Monday through Friday.
