Legend Senior Living in McMurray, PA is seeking a Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare nourishing meals from scratch using fresh ingredients and help deliver the Gold Leaf Dining experience that residents expect.

This role emphasizes serving residents with warmth, meeting dietary needs, maintaining cleanliness, and complying with food safety standards. One year of commercial restaurant experience and strong teamwork are required; evenings and weekends may be scheduled.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in a commercial restaurant.
• Ability to provide the highest level of culinary service and professional interaction.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment; organized, flexible and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with residents' dietary needs and fulfill special meal requests.
• Prepare meals from the menu plan and assist with meal service.
• Maintain cleanliness of production and service areas.
• Inspect work, storage, preparation and service areas to meet food safety standards.
• Follow safe work procedures including injury prevention and infection control.
• Label and date all food in refrigerator, freezer and dry storage.
