Legend Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our culinary team. You will create nourishing meals from scratch using fresh ingredients, contributing to the Gold Leaf Dining experience that our residents enjoy. We emphasize high standards of atmosphere, service, and care.

The role supports residents with dietary needs, maintains kitchen cleanliness, and works in a fast-paced environment while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 1 year experience in a commercial restaurant.
• Ability to provide highest level of culinary service and professional interaction to residents.
• Work well in a fast-paced environment; be organized, flexible, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with residents' dietary needs and fulfill special meal requests.
• Prepare meals from the menu plan and assist with service of meals.
• Maintain cleanliness of production and service areas.
• Inspect work, storage, preparation, and service areas to meet food service standards.
• Follow safe work procedures including injury prevention, food safety, and infection control.
• Label and date all food in refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage.
