KinderCare Learning Companies in Raleigh, NC is hiring a Cook to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children according to menus developed by our in-house nutritionist. You will ensure safe, hygienic kitchen operations and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day.
• Possess a Food Handler’s License or willingness to obtain.
• At least one year of institutional cooking experience; food ordering is desirable.
• Two or more years working with children is highly desirable.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English; able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and related equipment safely and hygienically.
• Order food and supplies.
• Dispense and store medication as requested.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation per KinderCare requirements.
• Help with other daily center duties as needed.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
