Job summary

Legends on Lake Lorraine is seeking cooks to join our assisted living team. Full Time and Part Time positions available, with flexible scheduling. The Cook will prepare cold foods, bakery and salad items, and help ensure meals meet resident diet needs and quality standards.

Responsibilities include following menus/recipes, food safety and sanitation, serving meals, assisting with events, and maintaining clean, organized work areas in a resident-centered community.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial kitchen preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation best practices.
• Ability to follow menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines.
• Good communication and teamwork in a care-home environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following menus and standardized recipes.
• Inspect diet trays to ensure correct diets are served.
• Prepare cold items, bakery and salads as required.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation; follow ServSafe regulations.
