Brandon Wilde is seeking a professional cook for an upscale senior living community in Sun City Center. This part-time role runs 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

and requires weekend availability, offering a rewarding opportunity to work with older adults in a respectful kitchen environment. Candidates should have at least one year of culinary experience in restaurant or senior living settings and strong interpersonal skills.

• Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency
• Exemplify cleanliness, sanitation and organizational standards
• Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards
• Prepare and serve menu cycles compliant with nutritional criteria
• Demonstrate knowledge in cooking preparation and production
• Assist with food production and ware washing as necessary
• Evaluate food service quality and make procedural revisions
• Represent the community in a warm, inviting manner
• Support top-line revenue and occupancy through engaging staff
• Meet dietary requirements per physician orders

Responsibilities of a Cook:

• Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Exemplify at all times Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.
• Produce and serve menu cycle programs that are compliant with required Nutritional/Dietary criteria as required by local regulations and correctly prepare diets provided per Policy and Procedure.
• Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production.
• Assist with any food production and ware washing as necessary.
• Evaluates food service quality, quantity, temperature, and appearance; to make revisions in operations / procedures to promote improved food service.
• Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner, which creates a positive kitchen environment.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
• Meet the dietary requirements established by the physician's order, including substituting menu items.
