Job Title: Cook-Food Prep
Salary: Above Market Pay ($9.00 to $13.00 per hour)
Thanks for choosing to apply with Goodfire BBQ. We offer flexible hours, higher pay rates, great working conditions, and excellent training. Strong employees will find us a great place to work.
We are a very employee-oriented restaurant company that believes that success occurs with highly paid, happy, well-trained team members. We are seeking great people to work in our upscale barbecue restaurant. We need people to work in our cashiering, lineserving, food prep, bakery, and barbecue pit operations. We have a beautiful new restaurant and pay the top wages in the industry.
Our restaurant is somewhat similar to Bill Miller's or Rudy's BBQ. If you can picture yourself happily working at this type of restaurant, earning high pay, led by great managers, using good systems, in a very busy, fast-paced environment, you should definitely apply with us. We require that everyone be super customer-oriented, work hard, and be serious all the time, but the time goes by fast and you will be working with great, competent people.
We feature authentic Hill County Texas BBQ, cooked in low small pits over post oak wood, just as the great barbecue places throughout the Texas Hill Country have cooked for over 50 years. However, we go beyond by adding homemade bread, a variety of small batch, scratch-made sides, scratch pies, 29-degree bottled and draft beer, frozen margaritas, and a great atmosphere filled with the best Texas music on 2 jukeboxes. This is a large restaurant with 2 drive-thru lanes and 4 inside registers designed to accommodate large numbers of guests. This, of course, requires a large number of great employees to make it work.
