Food City in White Pine, TN seeks a Food Service Associate to support courteous customer service and daily operations in the Food Service department. You will greet customers, help prepare and portion food, and ensure food safety and quality standards while working in a fast-paced store environment.

Applicants should be at least 18 years old with reliable on-site availability. Prior food service experience is a plus, but not required; training will be provided to cover safety protocols and

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient customer service to support the company mission.
• Maintain a friendly, positive atmosphere through teamwork and customer-first initiative.
• Prepare all food for Food Service department per manual guidelines and ensure quality standards.
• Slice meats and cheeses and prepare grill orders as required.
• Assist with stock rotation, product dating, and proper packaging.
• Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and food service area as per Food Safety program.
