Job summary

Angry Chickz in Ventura, CA is hiring a Crew Member to join our fast-paced kitchen. You will prepare food, operate fryers and grills, and deliver friendly service to guests while maintaining safety and sanitation standards. Ideal candidates have prior cook or food-service experience, strong teamwork, and attention to detail.

Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service setting.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate with colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with various cooking methods and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of company recipes and preparation.
• Ensure food is prepared with care and presented well.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards.
• Setup and sanitation of the stations on the line.
• Maintain clean preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
• Labeling and rotation of food products.
• Operate grills, fryers, stoves, or griddles.
• Follow dietary requirements for meals as needed.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
