Job summary

PM Hotel Group is seeking a dedicated cook to ensure flawless preparation and presentation of the Executive Chef's menu and to deliver an unparalleled dining experience for our guests.

You will start items, prepare according to recipe cards, return unused items to storage, and operate and clean kitchen equipment, all while thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience as a prep line/cook.
• Capable of thinking on their feet and able to keep up in high-pressure situations.

What Youll Do:

Our Cook is responsible for the flawless preparation and presentation of the menu created by the Executive Chef and for making sure our guests receive an unparalleled dining experience. No pressure.

Here are just some of the tasks youll be responsible for on a daily basis:

• Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to over-prepare estimated needs.
• Prepare food consistent with recipe cards.
• Return all food items not used on next shift to designated storage areas.
• Operate and properly clean cooking and kitchen equipment and supplies.

Where Youve Been:

You have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 years experience as a prep line/cook. Most importantly, youre someone who is capable of thinking on their feet and able to keep up in high-pressure situations.

When Youre Here:

There will be occasions when you may be carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending/twisting, climbing stairs and working on slippery floors.
