Job summary

Eden Senior Care's Rochester West facility is seeking a part-time Cook/Dietary Aide to support daily meal preparation and presentation for residents.

You will set up workstations, prepare ingredients, cook with grills and ovens, monitor food quality, keep the kitchen sanitary, and help with stocking and ordering when needed. Teamwork and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Cook in a healthcare or other professional food-service setting is required.
• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware.
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Very good communication skills.
• Excellent physical condition and stamina.

• Cook food with various utensils or grillers
• Check food while cooking to stir or turn

• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check the quality of ingredients
• Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages

Rochester West, part of the Eden Senior Care Network, a skilled nursing facility is seeking for a Cook/Dietary Aide for our wonderful skilled nursing facility!

Position: Cook/Dietary Aide (Part-Time)

Schedule

• AM Shift: 7:00 AM / 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• PM Shift: 3:00 PM / 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• EOW and some holidays
