Job summary

Eden Senior Care's Friendly Village Nursing and Rehab in Wisconsin seeks a Full-Time Cook to support daily meal service for residents. The position includes a Full-Time 11:30am - 7:30pm shift (with every other weekend and holidays) and a Hybrid option with 5:30am - 1:30pm and 11:30am - 7:30pm shifts (with every other weekend and holidays).

Responsibilities include setting up stations, preparing ingredients, cooking, checking quality, and maintaining sanitation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as cook, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with sanitation and kitchen safety procedures.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping, peeling, etc.).
• Cook food using various utensils or grillers.
• Check food while cooking to stir or turn as needed.
• Ensure presentation by dressing dishes before serving.
• Maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen.
• Store food and inventory properly.
• Check quality of ingredients.
• Monitor stock and place orders when shortages occur.

Available Open Shifts:

Full-Time 11:30am - 7:30pm (with every other weekend and holidays)

Hybrid, mix of 5:30am - 1:30pm AND 11:30am - 7:30pm (with every other weekend and holidays)
