Healthcare Services Group, Inc is hiring a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help ensure quality, safety, and presentation while adhering to dietary needs and sanitation standards.

The role requires strong teamwork, reliable attendance, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Previous cooking experience and relevant certifications are preferred, with residency in the service area required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required by state law.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
