Job description

Bridge Motorcycles, established in 1953, has become the leading motorcycle dealership in the Southwest. Our busy on-site café is popular among bikers and locals alike.

We are seeking an experienced cook/catering assistant, ideally barista trained, to join our team in a fast-paced environment on a permanent part-time basis. The role involves day shifts, one evening per month (April-August), and no Sunday work.

The Role

You will support the Head Cook, covering days off, ensuring meals are prepared to a high standard and served promptly. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in both front of house and kitchen areas, cooking, serving, replenishing food, preparing and serving a variety of coffees and drinks, and assisting with daily preparations and closing procedures.

About You

To be considered, you should have:

  • Experience in a busy hospitality environment
  • Good teamwork skills with a calm, friendly manner
  • Barista training (preferred)
  • Confidence working independently
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to operate basic kitchen machinery
  • Attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards
