Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island is seeking an Entry-Level Line Cook for a seasonal role from November 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027. On-island housing and meals are provided at $9.50 per day.

Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship. You will work alongside experienced chefs, assist in food prep, follow recipes, and contribute to high-quality dining experiences for guests in a world-renowned five-star hotel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary arts education or relevant training is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for cooking.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
