Job summary

Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island is seeking a motivated Steward to support our culinary team. This seasonal role runs from November 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027, with on-island housing and meals provided.

Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, lift 25+ pounds, and be available weekends and holidays; visa sponsorship is not available. You will wash dishes, maintain cleanliness, assist with food prep, and handle storage in accordance with safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Steward or in a similar role preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Overview

This is a seasonal position from November 1, 2026 - March 31, 2027. On island housing and meals provided at $9.50 per day.
