Job summary

Juniper is hiring immediately for a Dining Services Assistant under the supervision of the Executive Chef/Dining Services Director in a senior living community. The role involves assisting in meal preparation and delivering friendly service to residents and visitors.

You will support communications within the dining team, help plan events with leadership, and maintain required records while following safety protocols and equipment guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and experience in culinary arts or food service.
• Knowledge of volume food preparation.
• Knowledge and ability to operate food service equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents, associates, and visitors.
• Assist in the coordination of effective communication among dining team and resident assistants.
• Work closely with the Connections Director and the Director of Sales and Marketing in the planning and implementation of special events.
• Maintain necessary records and complete administrative paperwork as required.
• Follow established safety regulations, including fire protection, infection control, and equipment safety.
