Base pay range

$16.50/hr - $18.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operation of the kitchen.
  • Assign tasks to cooks and ensure proper receipt, dating, rotation, and storage of deliveries.
  • Supervise restaurant cooks and ensure sanitation and adherence to standards.
  • Optimize profits by controlling food and labor costs.
  • Hire, train, and develop new hourly team members.
  • Prepare food daily in a safe, sanitary manner as per Food Production Worksheet.
  • Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving of food according to standardized recipes.
  • Assist with setup, service, and cleanup of food production.
  • Assist with safety and training procedures for handling food service equipment.
  • Communicate with other departments and front-of-house management and staff to ensure successful execution of daily events.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Diploma in Culinary Management and food safety certification.
