Become a Cook at Coventry Meadows Assisted Living today!

Now Hiring Full-Time or Part-Time Cook. Must be willing to work both 1st & 2nd shifts and be flexible!

Join our culinary team at ASC and play a crucial role in preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals, while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and food safety for our residents.

Key Responsibilities of a Cook include:
  1. Follow recipes and prepare food that meets residents’ nutritional needs according to menus.
  2. Cook or prepare palatable, attractive, and nutritionally adequate meals in required quantities.
  3. Lead kitchen staff with food preparation, assembling trays, cleaning, and storing supplies and equipment.
  4. Maintain a clean food service work area during food preparation and service.
  5. Handle, store, dispose of food supplies, and prepare food following departmental procedures and in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
  1. Required: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
  2. Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling (can be earned with ASC).
  3. Preferred: Prior institutional and/or healthcare service experience.
