Job summary

Swartz Creek Community Schools is seeking a lunchroom helper to support daily meals during the 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM shift. You will prep ingredients using provided recipes, monitor temperatures, cook items with attention to quality and presentation, and assist with clean-up and paperwork.

You will be responsible for receiving deliveries, storing them properly, and maintaining attendance and punctuality as directed by the Executive Chef and Food Service Director.

Responsibilities

• Prep ingredients using provided recipes
• Maintain, and record, proper temperatures in all hot and cold food
• Cook items from the menu with a focus on quality and presentation
• Clean all food service equipment and accessories including wiping lunchroom tables between lunch periods
• Complete all applicable paperwork and submit weekly
• Accept, verify accuracy and properly store all deliveries
• Punctual, regular and consistent attendance is required
• Support department at the direction of the Executive Chef and Food Service Director
• All other duties assigned
