Cook and Dietary Aide (Food Services)

We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented person to join our Dietary Team at Vineyard Post Acute, a Skilled Nursing Facility.

This position combines the roles of Dietary Cook and Dietary Aide.

Schedule: Full-time, 5 days

• Cook PM shift - Monday and Tuesday
• Aide PM shift - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Essential Duties of a Dietary Cook:

• Follow detailed instructions for prepared menus and portion control guides.
• Prepare tasteful meals and cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Prepare special diets accurately.
• Record food temperatures for meals.
• Collaborate and work harmoniously with personnel in all departments.
• Clean cooking areas and serving carts.
• Report resident care concerns and potential issues to the Administrator and/or Director of Nurses.
