Job summary

The Salvation Army in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Full Time kitchen cook to prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals for large groups. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.

Job Location: FLA-Jacksonville Area Command - Jacksonville, FL 32204, Position Type: Full Time Regular, Education Level: High School Diploma/GED, Salary Range: $15.00 - $15.00 Hourly, Job Category: Food Service, Schedule/Hours: 40 hours per week weekend duty will be required

This position is responsible for:

• Preparing, cooking, and serving nutritional meals and snacks
• Cleaning kitchen facilities, equipment, and appliances
• Keeping kitchen and dining area in neat and orderly manner

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleans kitchen equipment, utensils and keeps supplies in orderly manner
• Ensures proper amounts of food is prepared in a timely manner
• Serves food and beverages in presentable manner

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a normal kitchen environment where there may be limited physical discomforts associated with working around hot stoves/ovens or cold freezers.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU :
