Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Cook 3 to join our team at Kalaloch Lodge in Forks, Washington. You will showcase your skills and be a visible leader in the kitchen, planning menus, delivering food to quality standards, training staff, and upholding health codes while monitoring quantities and labor costs.

This role requires at least two years in a back-of-house position, basic math, and the ability to read prep sheets and recipes.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a back-of-house foodservice position.
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow recipe measurements.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Review menus and customer orders to determine type and quantities of food to be prepared and ensure proper temperatures, storage, freshness, and packaging.
• Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked.
• Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory per guidelines.
