Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Cook 3 to join our Catering team at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. You will lead in the kitchen, plan menus with management, train staff, and ensure quality standards while upholding health codes and controlling costs.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of back-of-house foodservice experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes.
• Basic math skills to follow recipe measurements.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Review menus and customer orders to determine type and quantities of food to prepare while complying with portion sizes and quality standards.
• Keep workstations, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked; maintain sanitary kitchen and storage facilities.
• Use waste control guidelines and record waste on the spoilage sheet.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory.
