Overview

Cook 3 reports to the Sous Chef; this position is non-exempt.

The Role

As a Cook 3, you will collaborate with culinary leadership to develop and execute scratch-made dishes. You should be passionate about honing your craft, knowledgeable in culinary techniques, disciplined, and team-oriented. Respect, humility, and open-mindedness are essential for working effectively with colleagues and leadership.

What You Will Do
  • Uphold company principles and embody values that promote collaboration and guest satisfaction
  • Work collaboratively with culinary leadership
  • Maintain organized workstations and respect ingredients and equipment
  • Prepare food adhering to recipes and presentation standards
  • Continuously develop culinary skills and knowledge
  • Communicate openly with the team through meetings and feedback sessions
  • Report facility and equipment issues to management
What You Will Need
  • Passion for culinary arts and experience in various cuisines
  • Skills: food prep, knife skills, basic dressings, understanding culinary terminology, knife sharpening, etc.
  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year of cooking experience
  • Food safety knowledge, including ServSafe certification (or within 30 days of hire)
  • Ability to follow cleaning and prep guidelines
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Basic math skills for inventory and recipe measurements
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and 100 lbs. with assistance, and stand for long periods
