Job Opening: Cook at Allure of Prophetstown

MUST HAVE STATE CERTIFICATION (SERVSAFE FOOD PROTECTION MANAGER CERTIFICATION)!!

Hours: 1pm-7pm

Allure of Prophetstown is seeking a caring and energetic individual to join our Dietary department as a Cook. The ideal candidate will prepare well-balanced and nutritious meals.

Qualifications:
  1. Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe directions, diet orders, and work assignments.
  2. Ability to interact tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
  3. Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care.
  4. Food handler's certificate or completion required within 30 days of hire.
Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to the menu.
  2. Monitor food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning procedures.
  3. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  4. Prepare and serve food for diets as ordered by physicians.
  5. Follow menus as specified.
  6. Maintain high standards of food service quality by following instructions and standards.
Additional Details:
  • Job Type: Full-Time, every other weekend
  • Schedule: 1pm-7pm
  • Pay: $15.00/hour
  • Second shift Cook
