Job summary

Laurel Heights Hospital is a 112-bed facility located in Atlanta Ga. We are dedicated to providing youth with compassionate mental health treatment that encourages self-responsibility and personal growth. We provide psychiatric treatment to children and adolescents that present with a broad range of psychiatric, behavioral disorders and autism. A clinically skilled multidisciplinary team works to partner with the youth and family to accomplish their goals in a supportive and therapeutic environment.

The COOKS

Must be able to:

• Maintain self-control in volatile or hostile customer service interactions.
• to concentrate on work amidst distractions such as noise, conversations and foot traffic;
• consistently meet deadlines; and finish all food preparation at specified serving time;
• Flexible in work hours in order to meet patient and organization operating needs.
• Read and comprehend recipes or instructions on prepackaged products.
• Read, convert and adjust mathematical measurements for recipe adjustments.
• use kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, mixers and dishwashers;
• Work independently, in a restricted physical environment for extended periods of time.
• Perform several tasks concurrently.
• Maintaining information as highly confidential.
