Job summary

Portillo’s in Tomball, TX is looking for team members to prepare classic items and support a fast-paced dining operation. You will work with a team to deliver great guest experiences, maintain food quality, and follow recipes and sanitation guidelines.

The role offers base pay of $14 per hour with $2 extra after 11pm, $2 extra for work in temperatures below 33°F, and $3 extra on holidays, plus comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all classic menu items to order, such as Italian Beef, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Fries, and more.
• Prepare fresh vegetables, sauces, and other components following provided recipes and upholding quality and sanitation standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized station, ensuring a spotless work environment.
• Work as a team player to assist co‑workers and serve guests with urgency and efficiency.
• Maintain proper portion control and monitor food levels throughout the shift.

Pay and Incentives

• Base rate: $14 per hour.
• Additional $2 per hour for all hours worked after 11pm.
• Additional $2 per hour for all hours worked outside in temperatures below 33°F.
• Additional $3 per hour for hours worked on holidays (Easter, Memorial Day, July4, Christmas Eve, NewYear’s Day).
