Portillo’s Hot Dogs, LLC in Rolling Meadows, IL is hiring for a line cook/Prep role focused on preparing classic items like Italian Beef, burgers, hot dogs, and fries with attention to recipes and sanitation.
You will keep your station clean, work with the team to handle high-volume service, and manage portions and stock levels during each shift. Competitive base pay with per-hour bonuses depending on hours, temps, and holidays is offered.
Prepare all classic menu items to order, including Italian Beef, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Fries, and more. Prepare fresh vegetables, sauces, and other dishes by following provided recipes and upholding our commitments to quality and sanitation.
Keep your station spotless, work as a team player to help and serve others, and maintain a sense of urgency to serve long lines efficiently.
Maintain proper portion control and monitor food levels throughout the shift.
Must have worked at Portillo’s for 1 year with an average of at least 20 hours over a 6‑month period.

The base pay rate is $15.75 per hour.
Additional hourly rates: $2 per hour for all hours worked after 11pm, $2 per hour when working outside in temperatures below 33°F, and $3 per hour for holidays: Easter, Memorial Day, July4, Christmas Eve, NewYear’s Day.
