Job summary

Portageville Health Care Center is seeking a compassionate Cook to prepare meals for residents in a supportive, team-focused environment. You will handle ingredients, follow recipes, and help maintain kitchen safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include ordering and stocking supplies, cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and delivering meals efficiently in a busy setting. You will work under the Dietary Director and contribute to a positive dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Candidate must demonstrate empathy, patience, and a caring approach.
• Willing to work closely with residents and dietary staff.

• Adhere to food health and safety procedures
• Cook, clean, and assist other staff in daily operations
• Deliver food in a fast-paced environment
• Work shifts as assigned by the Dietary Director
