Edgewater, a WesleyLife Community in West Des Moines, IA, is seeking a Cook to create a personalized, pleasant dining experience for residents across our Stoneybrook Bistro and Terrace Fine Dining. You will work with our culinary team to deliver meals in our dining rooms and venues across the community.

Located on 50 acres of natural beauty in West Des Moines, Edgewater offers a unique WesleyLife Community for Healthy Living. Featuring lush gardens, waterfalls, and natural ponds, Edgewater provides a full continuum of care including independent living, assisted living, memory support, long-term care, and short-term rehabilitation. Residents enjoy a resort-like experience with amenities such as a day spa, five-star dining, and a saltwater pool, fostering an active and luxurious lifestyle.
A Typical Day for a Cook with Edgewater:
As our Cook , you will be responsible for creating a personalized, pleasant dining experience for our residents. Our dining venues include our Stoneybrook Bistro and our Terrace Fine Dining Restaurant, as well as dining rooms in our assisted living and skilled nursing areas.
You will get to expand your skills and knowledge with our experienced culinary team and have several opportunities to grow your career!
Current Openings: Full-Time Candidates for this position must be open to working evenings and weekends. Because our restaurants close at 8:00 pm, no late nights are required!
