Job summary

Covina Court Senior Living in Covina, CA is seeking a dependable Cook to prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents, taking pride in high food-safety standards and appealing presentation.

You will follow planned menus and dietary requirements, accommodate special diets and allergies, and work closely with the care team to ensure residents' needs are met.

Shift: Part Time on Saturdays and Sundays with competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and growth opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cook, preferably in assisted living, senior care, healthcare, restaurant, or institutional food service.
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and safe food-handling practices.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus, and special dietary instructions.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and respectful when interacting with senior residents.
• Food Handler certification preferred or willingness to obtain as required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and carry kitchen supplies as needed.
