Job summary

AdviniaCare Wellesley Alzheimer's Center in Wellesley, MA is seeking a skilled Cook to join our kitchen team on a part-time and full-time basis. You will plan, prepare, and cook food items to deliver quality service for residents, while keeping a clean, well-organized kitchen and ensuring proper food handling and sanitation.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining service standards, teamwork with staff, and upholding sanitary procedures for resident safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen.
• Certificate or associate degree from a community college in culinary arts, cooking.
• Food handling certificate from your state and knowledge of geriatric diets.
• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware.
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.).
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
• Capacity to work in a team.
