Avina of Pewaukee is hiring a full-time cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare high-quality meals, open and manage kitchen operations, and deliver food carts to resident care areas in a timely manner.

This role requires teamwork, reliability, and a focus on safe food handling. The ideal candidate has experience in food service and strong customer service skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak English, lift up to 50 lbs, and engage in geriatric care with compassion.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience or strong interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Reliable, dependable, and organized with strong time management skills.
• Knowledge in dietary techniques and procedures
• Must have a general interest in geriatrtics
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
• Be able to lift up to 50 LBS
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Join Our Culinary Team – Full-Time Cook at Avina of Pewaukee

Avina of Pewaukee is now hiring skilled and passionate cooks that are looking for a career that truly makes a difference.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare high-quality meals while following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Open the kitchen and ensure meals are served on time.
• Deliver food carts to resident care areas.
• Prepare and serve nutritious snacks between meals.
• Assist with kitchen setup, cleanup, and inventory.

Shifts Available:

• Full-Time: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Flex Cook: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM

What We’re Looking For:
