Our company is currently recruiting experienced Cook for a long-term care nursing facility in Washington, PA.

Cook Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepares food as assigned according to standardized recipes to provide residents with consistently accurate, tasteful, and cost-effective meals.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that the food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items for quality control.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.

Cook Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• ServSafe Certification preferred or will become ServSafe certified after hire.
• Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
