Culinary

• Prepare food according to standardized recipes and production sheets, including portion control, garnishing, and presentation.
• Improve cooking skills through flexibility in assignments.
• Store leftovers and prep food using proper labeling within required timeframes.
• Inventory food items as assigned.

Safety/Sanitation

• Maintain records of food temperatures, production, waste, and usage.
• Ensure food safety standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment according to department, hospital, and regulatory standards.

Communications

• Communicate food quality, availability issues, equipment status, and staffing concerns to management.

Safety

• Speak up about unsafe behavior or performance.
• Verify information for decision-making and documentation.
• Address uncertainties promptly.
• Communicate clearly and timely, both verbally and in writing.
