Job summary

Eden Senior Care operates Fair Oaks Lodge in Minnesota and is seeking a positive, reliable Cook for full-time shifts. The role includes early morning and day schedules with every-other-weekend work and a starting pay of $19/hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, cooking with various methods, ensuring sanitary conditions, and maintaining inventory. High school diploma preferred; culinary school diploma a plus.

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Cook food in various utensils or grillers
• Check food while cooking to stir or turn
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients
• Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages

Fair Oaks Lodge,part of the Eden Senior Care Network,is looking for a positive and reliable Cook who understands how important his/her work is to providing quality care for residents’ daily lives.

Position: Cook (Full-time)

• Schedule: 5:00 AM–1:30 PM or 11:00 AM–7:30 PM, with an every-other-weekend requirement.
• Pay Rate: Starting at $19/hour, depending on experience.
