Job summary

Edgewood Healthcare in Virginia seeks a part-time cook to prepare meals for residents, staff and guests in a 180-bed independent, assisted living and memory care community. You will follow established menus, assist with events, and help maintain a safe, clean kitchen and dining area.

Active ServSafe certification is preferred; Edgewood provides training. The role supports budget goals, inventory control, and compliance with HIPAA and company policies.

As a Cook at Edgewood, you’ll prepare meals and provide an outstanding dining experience for the most amazing folks on the planet – our residents!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare meals for our residents, staff, and guests based on company-established menus and recipes
• Help plan and meal prep for resident and employee special events
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and dining room
• Assist with achieving budget goals, inventory management, and production control
• Follow HIPAA and all other Edgewood policies
