Job summary

Edgewood Healthcare is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare meals for residents and staff at Edgewood Pierre. You will follow established menus, assist with events, and maintain a clean kitchen and dining area in a compassionate, resident-focused environment.

The role includes training opportunities, paychecks paid early, PTO accrual from day one, and a 401(k) with employer contributions. Background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Active ServSafe Certification, desired; Edgewood will provide training as needed.
• Willingness to train new employees and learn continuously.
• Compassion for seniors and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents, staff, and guests based on menus.

As a Cook at Edgewood, you’ll prepare meals and provide an outstanding dining experience for the most amazing folks on the planet – our residents!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare meals for our residents, staff, and guests based on company-established menus and recipes
• Help plan and meal prep for resident and employee special events
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and dining room
• Assist with achieving budget goals, inventory management, and production control
• Follow HIPAA and all other Edgewood policies

Qualifications:

• Active ServSafe Certification, desired
