Job summary

Edgewood Healthcare is seeking a part-time Cook at Edgewood Eagle Island in Eagle, Idaho to prepare meals and deliver outstanding dining experiences for our residents. You will follow established menus and assist with events while keeping the kitchen and dining area clean and safe.

The schedule includes Friday and Saturday shifts with an alternating 10:30 AM–7:00 PM shift. Benefits include health plans, HSA, 401K with employer contribution, early paycheck access, and PTO starting day one.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience is required.
• Active ServSafe Certification is desirable; training available by Edgewood.
• Willingness to train new employees.
• Desire to continue learning and improving culinary skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents, staff, and guests based on established menus and recipes.
• Help plan and prep meals for resident and employee events.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and dining area.
• Assist with budget goals, inventory management, and production control.
• Follow HIPAA and Edgewood policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for our residents, staff, and guests based on company-established menus and recipes
• Help plan and meal prep for resident and employee special events
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and dining room
• Assist with achieving budget goals, inventory management, and production control
• Follow HIPAA and all other Edgewood policies
