Atria Senior Living in New York is seeking a Cook to join the kitchen staff responsible for preparing and cooking meals for residents in our dining programs. You will work closely with teammates to deliver tasty, nutritious meals in a warm, restaurant-style atmosphere designed for resident enjoyment.

Responsibilities include following recipes and schedules, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen, and building positive relationships with residents and coworkers.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years' cook experience in hospitality or healthcare.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and cleaning logs.

Responsibilities

What you will do as a Cook

• Understand that dining in the restaurant-style atmosphere can be the highlight of our residents' day.
• Maintain the kitchen in a clean, safe and sanitary condition at all times.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience as a cook in a hospitality or healthcare environment
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards
• Ability to read and follow recipes, guides, cleaning schedules and logs
