Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Carmel, IN is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals that support residents’ health and enjoyment while maintaining a safe, clean kitchen.

You will follow standardized recipes, adjust to dietary needs, record production and temperatures, and help create an enjoyable dining experience while ensuring safety and compliance. This role may lead food production in the Dining Services Coordinator’s absence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed

Pay Range

17.00 - 21.35
