Job summary

Vista Prairie Communities is hiring a Cook for Fieldcrest, Assisted Living and Memory Care. The role entails preparing meals, following dietary guidelines, and maintaining a safe kitchen. You’ll assist residents during meals and work with a team to ensure smooth operations.

Full-time schedule with evening shift differential and weekend requirements. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive workplace culture designed to foster meaningful connections with residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Training in Culinary Arts and/or 1 year’s experience as a cook preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and carry out directions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure food is prepared and served safely and timely.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area.
• Provide friendly service to residents, employees, and guests.
• Support residents with personal care during meals as needed.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

What You\'ll Do:
