Job summary

Vista Prairie Communities Brentwood is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents in our assisted living and memory care community. You will follow established menus, maintain safety and sanitation standards, and support residents during meals.

This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week and evenly distributed 4x10-hour shifts, including every other weekend. We offer competitive hourly pay ranging from $18.92 to $23.81 per hour, plus shift differentials for evenings and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Culinary Arts training and/or 1 year experience as a cook preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and carry out directions required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure food is prepared and served in a safe, sanitary, and timely manner.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining area.
• Provide friendly and attentive service to residents, employees, and guests.
• Support residents by providing personal care and service during meal times as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and resident satisfaction.
