Job summary

Vista Prairie Brentwood Assisted Living and Memory Care in Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Cook to prepare and serve meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines. Full-time, dayshift, 40 hours per week, four 10-hour shifts, every other weekend.

You will maintain food safety and sanitation, assist with dining service, and support residents during meals. Competitive hourly pay range and shift differentials apply, with strong team support and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Culinary Arts training and/or 1 year of cook experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure food is prepared and served in a safe, sanitary, and timely manner.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining area.
• Provide friendly and attentive service to residents, employees, and guests.
• Support residents by providing personal care and service during meal times as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and resident satisfaction.
